This lab deviates from the conventional style of data acquisition and analysis. However, you still have the option of writing a standard lab report. In this case, you should write a detailed explanation (about 400 words) on how and why your motor works and also some suggestions to improve its efficiency.
Alternatively, you may produce a short video in which you demonstrate the process of building your motor and show it in operation. In your video, you should present the theory, demonstrate the procedure, and explain how and why your motor operates. The video should not exceed five minutes in duration. You may want to edit longer videos before submitting them for evaluation. Refer to the guidelines under Video Presentation in the introduction of this lab manual.
It is extremely important that you ensure proper citation and full referencing of all your sources. Failure to credit sources of information used in the design or analysis of your experiment may constitute an act of plagiarism.
